The table looks better in person than in the photos. The rustic look fits nicely against a light olive backdrop and compliments the theme I wanted to achieve for a chill-out room. Initially, I was undecided about the design of the legs; not conventional, but it has grown on me, and I only realised after that you can rotate the table, and the legs will still look good however you turn it. The top is laminated but with a grain effect, so it is hard to discern that it is not natural wood. The rustic design is perfect, and I think it adds a lot of character to a room. The darker shadings of the top have character.Assembly was harder than I thought; the curved nature of the legs makes the assembly coordination more complex. I found you had to be very precise when screwing the legs to the top. There is little tolerance, and you have to get it spot on. Once fully assembled, it is very sturdy. The materials used are well-finished, and the satin black legs work very well with the colouring of the top. The overall dimension of the top is perfect, enough to fit a couple of chairs for two people chatting over coffee. I had the table lined against the wall so you could fit more chairs around it if it is off the wall.I like the table very much, and the rest of the family likes it too. I do recommend this product.
